Relations between China and the U.S. have been all over the news lately. Arati, one of our members here at Treehouse Coworking, is hosting a conversation about where the relationship between two of the world’s largest economies is headed, how foreign policy gets made and where the State Department fits in. This is a casual, off-the-record conversation. Arati is currently an Una Chapman Cox Fellow in Hawaii analyzing Chinese foreign investment in the United States in emerging high-tech sectors. Prior to her current assignment, Arati advanced and implemented U.S. economic policy at the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai, China.
