World Cup, the most viewed sports event in the world, (5B+ in viewership) come but every four years. With only 32 countries qualifying for the world cup the month long event is celebrated in cities all over the world. 

Starting November 20 there are a total of 64 games with the finals on December 18. The United States who missed the last World Cup (along side countries like Italy ) made it to the quarterfinals in 2002 losing to Germany 0-1. This year the country fields the most talented team in our history and is guaranteed 3 group stage games. The world cup requires countries to field international and national stars and we will see some of the greatest footballers in history, players like Lionel Messi who represents Argentina has yet to win a World Cup.

Around the world city centers build public viewing venues to celebrate the beautiful game. Hundreds and some times tens of thousands of people gather to celebrate the tournament which started in 1930.

In the Heart of Kailua there will be such a city center venue to celebrate World Cup. Hosted by The Boardroom and Solar Shack in partnership with Advantage Sports Academy, Albion Soccer club at Lejardin, Paradise Soccer Club and MISO will be putting on a European style indoor/outdoor on the corner of Kihapai and Kainehe.

The outdoor venue will feature screens, seating, food, drinks, games and kid soccer games.

All games in the group stage at 6am and 9am will be featured.

The USA games are: 9am 11/21, 9am 11/25 and 9am 11/29. Match of the week will be featured in the evenings Fridays at 5pm. The Finals will be a ticketed event.

December 18th: 5am
